Beloved BBC presenter returns to screens after months off amid cancer battle

NICK Owen will be returning to screens after he took a four month absence due to his shock cancer diagnosis.

The star rose to fame when he presented the very first iteration of Good Morning Britain on ITV in 1983.

Nick, 75, is set to announce that he will be returning to TV where he will once again take to the BBC Midlands Today sofa.

From Monday 11 September he will take airwaves once a week to once again keep viewers informed and updated with the latest local news.

The household name recently opened up his recent prostate cancer diagnosis and revealed that he was undertaking treatment.
