Being tired all the time could be red flag sign of common illness 46,000 Brits have

Brits have been issued with a new health warning over a common illness that can be mistaken for just being tired. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, has issued new guidelines for spotting and managing B12 deficiency.

Feeling tired all the time, extreme exhaustion and brain fog could all be signs of the common deficiency, as well as anaemia and mobility problems.

There are currently 46,000 Brits struggling with the illness, with vegans and one in 10 over 75s more likely to be affected.

NHS GP, Dr Rachel Ward, of Woodlands Medical Centre, Didcot, Oxfordshire, told the Sun: “Most people who have a balanced diet will have adequate B12 in their body.
