BBC’s The Sixth Commandment has beem blasted as ‘insensitive’ by ‘shocked’ neighbours of the real-life victims.

The new drama series retold the story of the Buckinghamshire murder committed by Benjamin Field in 2015.

Author Peter, 69, was killed by Benjamin, 28, after he manipulated the older man for financial gain and tried to make his death look like an accident or suicide.

Peter was duped into a fake relationship with Benjamin, who hoped the pensioner would change his will.

In October 2019 was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 36 years for the killing.
