BBC ‘uninclined’ to promote Harry’s book in hopes of airing coronation

It is unknown what promotional work the Duke of Sussex will do for his new book, but it has been claimed that the BBC are reportedly not wanting to “invite” Harry to any of their channel’s shows to promote the upcoming 416-page memoir.Speaking on a recent video on his YouTube channel, royal expert Neil Sean said that “according to a very good source”, the channel are hoping to get “exclusive rights” to cover the forthcoming coronation on May 6, 2023, so are eager to keep Harry at a distance.Mr Sean said the BBC feeling “inclined” to allow Harry to promote his book on their channel does , in fact, make “perfect sense”.Speaking on the BBC’s hope to air King Charles’ coronation, he added: “This would be a national celebration and watched by the eyes of the world.”He noted that the Queen Elizabeth II’s husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, was “instrumental in organising the fact that cameras were allowed inside Westminster Abbey for the very first time” at the late monarch’s coronation in 1953.READ MORE: Meghan admits struggling with UK citizenship test and asking Harry for help-‘so hard!’ Prince Harry’s book will be released in January 2023 (Image: GETTY) Harry is no longer a senior royal (Image: GETTY)Mr Sean then discussed who would “wish to interview [Harry]” in the UK.He said: “You have [a] lesser-known channel like ITV.”You could look at Sky News.”It was revealed last week that Prince Harry’s book is being released on January 10, 2023.READ MORE: Meghan opens up about first outing after Oprah interview – ‘so nervous!’The printed edition will be available in 16 language.Prince Harry is set to read the memoir, himself, for the audiobook edition. The memoir will be titled Spare, a reference to Harry’s position as the younger brother to the heir to the throne, Prince William.DON’T MISSPrince Harry ‘knows Firm will not return attack’ on him [REVEAL]Camilla ‘to step forward’ after years in the background to avoid clash [INSIGHT]Netflix accused of ‘rewriting history’ with key moment in The Crown [REPORT] King Charles III’s coronation will take place on May 6, 2023 (Image: GETTY)
