 A top BBC presenter, who is embroiled in a scandal surrounding sending money to a teenager in exchange for explicit photographs, reportedly stripped down to his underwear for a video call with the alleged victim. On Friday, it was claimed a male BBC star was reportedly being investigated for providing money in exchange for explicit photos from a teenager. The well-known presenter, who has not been named, was accused of giving more than £35,000 to the anonymous teen for the imagery. While the teenager at the centre of the allegations is now 20 years old, the situation is said to have begun when they were 17, with their mother saying that money received was used to fund a drug addiction. Their mother has now further shared details, saying she saw the presenter 'leaning forward, getting ready for my child to perform for him,' on her child's phone. She added to The Sun that she saw images on the phone of the presenter in his boxer shorts, recalling: 'I loved watching him on TV. 'So I was shocked to see a picture of him sitting on a sofa in his house in his underwear. 'He was leaning forward getting ready for my child to perform for him. The BBC has said it takes 'any allegations very seriously' following the reports on Friday that a 'well-known presenter' has been taken off air over the claims.
