Sally continued: "Yeah, exactly. Back then it was known as the British Broadcasting Company and ran its first ever radio broadcast from 2 LO." As she was talking, a reel of faces were whizzed through on the screens around them for viewers to glimpse. Jon joked: "We're whizzing through 100 years there!" Sally replied: "I'm not sure that's really very good," before Jon asked for it to stop. She then added: "I'm feeling a little bit sick now, can we stop that?" The footage duly stopped and some archive footage was shown instead to which Sally said: "Thank you" before sharing a laugh with Jon. Continuing with the report, they said: "The first programmer was a news bulletin was read by Arthur Burrows, who read it twice." With another laugh, Sally said: "Once was fast, and then slowly so that listeners could take notes if they wished." Referring back to the spinning reel of faces, she said: "I think we should run those pictures again much more slowly next time." Jon agreed, adding: "Once fast and once slowly, yes, and we'll be reading that again more slowly in an hour's time."
