 BBC Breakfast presenter Nina Warhurst shared the sweet moment her dad and daughter met for the first time. Nina's dad Chris looked at the new arrival, Nance, with nothing but love and affection, even playing with her toes. Sharing a photo of the heartwarming meeting of the different generations she pointed out: 'It was not quiet' and added 'he's still got it'. The 42-year-old also tagged Dementia Adventures in an Instagram story as Chris was diagnosed with alzheimer's disease and vascular dementia last year – something that Nina has honestly opened up about in the past. She wrote on Instagram in May: 'Dementia is tightening its grip quite quickly now. Dad is losing some basic skills and is increasingly reluctant to go out.' 'Once you've shifted to adapt it into your lives you can have happy times again,' she explained. 'Yes, you feel like you're standing on shifting sand quite a lot, but you can have those lovely times.'
