Bayern Munich are hopeful Sadio Mane has avoided serious injury after picking up a knock just 12 days before Senegal begin their World Cup campaign.
The German champions eased to an emphatic 6-1 win over Werder Bremen on Tuesday evening, a result that moves them four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
Mane’s injury overshadowed the result however with the former Liverpool star going down with a knee injury that required treatment after just 15 minutes.
He was replaced by Leroy Sane, heading straight down the tunnel for further treatment.
