Since then the company has expanded rapidly and employs over 5000 people across 300 stores. The majority of locations are in the North East and Midlands but the network is increasing, with some stores already in Cardiff and Luton. The company aims to open up 30 new stores each year so if you do not have one already, keep an eye out as one might be coming to a high street near you, soon. Deals and offers are listed on the website although you cannot buy online. There is a locator tool on the website that you can use to find your nearest Heron Foods. At the time of checking the website, they had offers on big brand names such as Red Bull, Uncle Ben's, Cadbury and McCain among others. Bear in mind that prices and product availability can change all the time and may vary from store to store. Although the list is helpful, it is not a guarantee that they will have stock of exactly what you want when you visit. We had a look at some of the offers that were available. At the moment on the Heron Foods website there is a 355ml can of Red Bull priced at £1.80. We price-checked this against other supermarkets and it does appear that Heron Foods is the cheapest at the time we checked for an individual can. Morrisons have the same size can of Red Bull at £1.89, and Asda has it listed at £1.90. Although Asda was more expensive on an individual purchase, they did have a three-for-two deal on this product.
