Bargain supermarket shuts doors forever on two locations

A BARGAIN supermarket chain will be pulling down the shutters at two of its outlets today.

The branches of Iceland in Birkenhead and in Crewe will shut their doors for good at the end of trading.

Its shop in Llanelli closed on September 12.

Recently, the company also announced it will be closing its store on Trinity Street, Huddersfield on October 28.

An Iceland spokesperson said: “The Trinity Street, Huddersfield store is due to close on October 28, we anticipate many of our customers will instead choose to shop at the nearby Food Warehouse on Great Northern Retail Park.
