Manchester United have reportedly rebuffed Barcelona’s hopes of signing Diogo Dalot amid his central role in Erik ten Hag’s rebuild. The La Liga giants are plotting a January move for Dalot but face the arduous task of prizing him away from Old Trafford as he enjoys his best season at the club yet.Dalot has started all 16 of Ten Hag’s games in charge of United, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams have suffered early-season injury woes. He has cemented his spot as first-choice right back and was never going to be allowed to leave easily, especially midway through the campaign.And, according to Sport, it would be ‘practically impossible’ for Barcelona to recruit the 23-year-old in January after they enquired about his availability.
