The actor teased over it in a video shared by the film's official Twitter account. The tweet read: "Had to give Jimin this [guitar emoji] for his KEN-RGY! (*previously recorded*)" He said in the video message: "Hi Jimin, it's Ryan Gosling here. I noticed that your Permission to Dance outfit was the same as my Ken outfit in the upcoming movie Barbie." Ryan went on to compliment the singer by saying that he "wore it best". He commented in the clip: "I have to give it to you; you wore it first [and] you definitely wore it best." The recent video saw Ryan continue by saying: "And there's an unspoken Ken code that if you bite another Ken's style, you have to give them your most prized possession." He was subsequently seen holding up a black and white guitar that was adorned with Ken's name and imagery of a white horse, as well as further decoration on instrument. Ryan further said: "So I hope you'll accept Ken's guitar as my humble offering." He added: "Besides, Ken doesn't really play anyway, so it'll be much better in your hands."
