Mrs Hinch fans have come up with a genius way to clean dirty ovens and get them looking food as new using tin foil and one other item that you can buy for just £1.49
Cleaning the oven has to be one of our most dreaded household chores. This is particularly the case if it’s been some time since you last gave it a good going over and the grease is now well and truly caked on there. But it turns out there is a clever hack involving tin foil that will get the inside of your oven gleaming and looking good as new in no time.
While you might think that scrubbing a metal surface with foil will lead to a lot of scratches, when it’s teamed up with one particular cleaning product, magic things happen.
The Pink Stuff has already established a cult following as one of Mrs Hinch’s favourite cleaning products. The cleaning paste, which costs £1.49 for a tub from The Range, is designed to be used all over the kitchen, including on cooker tops, furniture, sinks and saucepans. And Hinchers have discovered a way to make it work even harder.
Here’s how it works. Simply roll up a ball of foil and dip it into a tub of The Pink Stuff. Rub it straight onto the area you want to clean for a few seconds until it is covered in the paste. Remove the paste with a damp cloth, and then dry and buff with a microfibre cloth. That’s it!
