 It's not every day you see KFC on the menu on board a British Airways flight. But that's exactly what passengers were served on one plane from the Caribbean to the UK after the in-flight meal was deemed unsafe to eat. With the catering carts not chilling food properly and rendering it inedible, the cabin crew had to act quickly to stop people going hungry. So when the pilot made a scheduled stop-off in Nassau in the Bahamas, the air hosts rushed to the fast food restaurant at the tiny airport to stock up on buckets of chicken. They then handed out a piece to everyone during the 12-hour journey from the island of Turks and Caicos to London Heathrow on Sunday. Footage and pictures showed staff using tongs to pass chicken to passengers on the Boeing 777 flight BA252. Since word got out about what happened, though, their decision has caused quite the stir. Ian Morgan was particularly unimpressed and wrote on Instagram: 'They got KFC buckets and handed out ONE chicken leg per passenger. An absolute disgrace.' Andrew Bailey also wasn't best pleased at the small portions and wrote on Twitter: 'BA had to serve @kfc at Nassau giving some lucky passengers 1 piece of chicken. 'The container with the plane catering wasn't chilled so all thrown away!!' Another replied: 'We were on this same flight. Laughable. People with medical conditions left without any food or proper refreshments.'
