 If you really want to immerse yourself in the new Assassin's Creed you could try the new special edition that makes sure you feel every blow. The Assassin's Creed series is no stranger to expensive collector's editions but one of the most costly, and surprising, has just been revealed as a collaboration between haptic clothing manufacturer OWO and Assassin's Creed Mirage. The 'gaming system' is basically a cycle jersey but with 10 different haptic hotspots, like the DualSense rumble, that can be made to vibrate in conjunction with whatever game you're playing. So, for example, if you get shot in the chest your chest will vibrate or if you're pulling a bow and arrow you'll feel it in your arm. The general concept has been around for a while, but OWO seem to be a fairly new company – although they've already tied up deals to get the system working with games such as Fortnite, League Of Legends, Valorant, Rocket League, Apex Legends, and various VR titles. There's an app to make changes to exactly what happens with each action and it's platform agonistic, so it'll run on any console or device as long as the game is compatible. There's not yet any indication of how specifically it'll be adapted for Assassin's Creed Mirage, but it's not hard to imagine how all the stabbing and dagger throwing is going to work. The Assassin's Creed Mirage version of the 'skin' you wear is specially branded and comes with a digital copy of the game, but there's no indication of how much it costs. The standard edition seems to be €499 though, which works out at around £428.
