It’s been a massive 48 hours for Arsenal after Jurrien Timber completed his move from Ajax on Friday afternoon, with the signing of Declan Rice confirmed on Saturday
Arsenal fans will be forgiven for feeling ecstatic this morning.
Declan Rice is finally their player after completing a £105million move from West Ham on Saturday. The most expensive British footballer of all time has signed a five-year contract and spoken about his desire to go to the “next level” under Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners have now spent more than £200m on fresh talent this summer, with Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber also moving to the Emirates. The focus may now turn to outgoings, with Thomas Partey still considering a big money move to Saudi Arabia.
Rob Holding is also the subject of a bid from Besiktas, while Folarin Balogun is linked with a move to Inter Milan.
