Arsenal have spent heavily in the transfer market this summer but have only seen one transfer actually confirmed in ex-Chelsea man Kai Havertz, as fans await news on Declan Rice
Arsenal’s summer transfer window got off to a flying start as they look to prepare for another title tilt next term.
After challenging for the Premier League for the majority of last season and returning to the Champions League, the Gunners have already dropped £65m on Kai Havertz from Chelsea, a deal which took many by surprise.
He could soon be followed by two further arrivals in Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber, who have both undergone medicals with the North London side but fans are growing impatient as they continue to wait for the official announcements confirming deals for both players.
Once that news comes, it would take Arsenal’s spending to over £200m this summer and remarkably, it might not even stop there. PSG star Kylian Mbappe and Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez have both been linked with switches to the Emirates Stadium over the past 24 hours, though the latter is a far more likely deal for the Gunners to pull off.
