Champions League hopefuls Arsenal are back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they welcome relegation candidates Nottingham Forest to the Emirates
Arsenal can return to the top of the Premier League on Sunday afternoon by beating struggling Nottingham Forest at the Emirates.
It’s been a tough week for Mikel Arteta’s side. They could only muster a 1-1 draw against Southampton at St Mary’s in their last Premier League outing seven days ago and suffered a 2-0 defeat at PSV Eindhoven in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Champions Manchester City have jumped ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League following their 1-0 win at Leicester on Saturday afternoon. The Gunners are expected to beat Forest, as Steve Cooper’s side are bottom of the table after winning just two games.
“There’s no time to feel sorry for ourselves,” insisted Arteta. “We have to react. On Sunday, we have a really important game, and then we’ll look to Zurich [in the Europa League]. We have to be much better than we were [against PSV]… It wasn’t good enough.”
