Arsenal have ‘done their legwork’ on cheap January target Ndicka

The Gunners could sign the French centre-back on a cheap deal in January, though other clubs are interested.Ndicka is out of contract at Frankfurt at the end of the season. He can therefore speak to foreign clubs in January regarding a potential pre-contract agreement.But Frankfurt may decide to cash in on the 23-year-old instead. Transfer expert Ben Jacobs says Arsenal are big fans of Ndicka and have scouted him.However, they are not the only team keen on signing him. Jacobs told Give Me Sport: “Arsenal like the player.”They’ve certainly done their legwork and their due diligence and their scouting on him. The Evening Standard reported Arsenal’s interest in Ndicka last week.The report claimed Frankfurt may decide to sell in January to avoid losing him for free. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also given an update on Ndicka’s situation, claiming there looks to be little possibility he signs a new contract with Frankfurt.Romano told Caught Offside: ‘There are many, but really many clubs interested in Ndicka.
