Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta makes transfer appeal after Brighton loss

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has appealed for the club to have an active transfer window in January. Arteta watched his second string side crash out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Brighton on Wednesday.Eddie Nketiah gave Arsenal the lead at the Emirates with his first goal in nine matches. However, the Seagulls were quickly level through a Danny Welbeck penalty.Karl Hein was handed his Arsenal debut in goal but had a moment to forget. Arteta made 10 changes from the 1-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday, with William Saliba the only player to keep his place.And when asked if he thinks his squad needs strengthening in January, the Spaniard insisted opportunities will need to be looked at.
