Following Matt Hancock’s arrival into the jungle last night, Ant McPartlin 46, and Declan Donnelly, 47, have revealed how they actually feel about the politician joining the show. Tensions were already growing in camp before the health secretary appeared, and although Matt’s campmates have been relatively accepting, the hosts are expecting some major clashes. The presenting duo seemingly understood the public’s confusion and anger at Matt, 44, joining the competition. Speaking on the pair’s Instagram page, Dec noted: ‘It was a big old mixed reaction from everybody.’The pair were keeping up with public reactions via Twitter with Ant saying that Matt’s appearance ‘is still surreal’ for them. While the public had been anxiously anticipating Matt’s late arrival along with comedian Seann Walsh, 36, their campmates had no idea who would be the final two to join the show. READ MORE: Joan Collins, 89, almost unrecognisable in transformation as she ditches signature hairdo Ant and Dec shared how they really felt about the MP joining I’m A Celeb (Image: GETTY/INSTAGRAM) The pair said Matt being voted to take part in the trial was the least surprising vote they’ve had (Image: INSTAGRAM) Seann Walsh and Matt Hancock both made a late entrance to the jungle last night (Image: GETTY) Ant and Dec appeared on Instagram, giving their opinion on Matt and how Seann eats cherry bakewells (Image: INSTAGRAM)’But I think once the novelty has worn off a little bit, you know, I think possibly there could be a little bit of spikiness.”Ant admitted: ‘I mean he was at the helm for the worst crisis the world has faced for many a year.
