Animal activist storms Gucci catwalk at Milan Fashion Week

The woman, believed to be a member of Peta, ran onto the stage holding up a sign that read ‘Ban Exotic Skins’

A woman has disrupted a Gucci fashion show in Milan, protesting against the use of animal fur.

The young woman, reportedly a member of the animal welfare organisation Peta, burst onto the catwalk as models walked past, holding up a sign that read “Basta Pelli Esotiche” in Italian – Ban Exotic Skins.

She was led away by a security guard.

The stunt in Milan follows a similar protest in New York earlier this month.
