Amy Schumer experienced the “hardest week of her life” after her son Gene was hospitalised with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
The comedian revealed that she missed her rehearsals for Saturday Night Live after she realised her three-year-old needed urgent medical care.
Taking to Instagram, Amy, 41, gave a “shout out to all the parents” who might also be dealing with poorly kids, as she struggled to juggle her hectic schedule.
Sharing snaps from behind the scenes of the show on her Instagram page, she added the caption: “This was the hardest week of my life. I missed Thursday rehearsals when my son was rushed to ER and admitted for RSV. Shout out to all the parents going though this right now.”
