Amanda will help uncover the saucy secrets of the last 2,500 years with historian Dan Jones in the Sky History series which will begin in September. The series will use archive footage and dramatic reconstruction, with Amanda and Dan taking the leading roles to shed light on history's best sex stories. TV favourite Amanda will immerse herself by stripping off to enjoy a candlelit bath, while sporting Cleopatra's famous raven-coloured block of braids. The hosts will explore how attitudes towards sex and sexuality have evolved throughout the ages, from the origination of the first contraceptive in ancient Egypt to swinging in 70s suburban Britain. The pair take a look at how historical sexualisation of Ancient Egypt's Cleopatra ultimately overshadowed her true achievements as a strong, calculated, and intelligent ruler. In the first look from the show, while enjoying a soak from her bathtub, Amanda says: "History on the whole has been written by men.
