A CONTESTANT on Alone was forced to leave just hours after being abandoned in the wilderness after plunging an axe into his leg.
Channel 4’s brutal new survival series sees 11 members of the public take on the ultimate test of survival in the Canadian wilderness on the fringes of the Arctic Circle.
The last person standing wins a whopping £100,000, but sadly contestant Mike, 49, barely had chance to get his bid for the cash off the ground.
During the show, he revealed he used to be a heroin addict but had turned his life around, and hoped being on the show was the start of a new chapter.
But sadly, just four hours after being dropped into the wilderness, Mike was forced to leave the show, after accidentally slicing into his leg with an axe.
