Alan Carr is set to star as himself in a new biographical comedy series coming to ITV – with a little help from the production team behind Gavin & Stacey.
The comedian, 46, has had the upcoming sitcom, entitled Changing Ends, commissioned by ITV, and it will follow his life story.
Bafta-winning TV writer Simon Carlyle will help to develop the series after having success in recent years with Scottish sitcom Two Doors Down.
Changing Ends will follow Alan’s life as a young boy growing up in Northampton while his dad, Graham, manages the town’s Football League team.
