Police have today released a mugshot of one of the three men charged with third-degree assault in connection with a brutal brawl that went viral on social media across the world.
Suspect Richard Roberts, 48, was pictured after he was arrested alongside Alan Todd, 23 and Zachary Shipman, 25. Montgomery Police Chief Darryl Albert confirmed the three men had been arrested and charged in a press conference yesterday after a major brawl was sparked at the city Riverfront in Alabama over the weekend.
Two warrants were issued for Roberts while there was one each for Todd and Shipman. Police also confirmed they hope to speak to a fourth man, a 42-year-old black male named Reggie Gray, who is alleged to be the individual seen “wielding a folding chair” in alarming footage seen on social media.
