Michael used to live 'in front of the Shameless pub' when he was in his early teens and said he was close to his neighbours. "A lot of people that went to my school who knew me or spoke to me would say I always came out with the craziest statements like 'I'm going to be a millionaire by the time I'm 30'," he recently said. "I've always had a lot of confidence and self-belief, but back then it was arrogance." He met Rain rapper Aitch, Harrison James Armstrong, when he was only 16-years-old. At the time, the musician was still making a name for himself and attending open mic nights. "I'd go there and meet loads of artists and I would have met Aitch at one of those. People knew I was connected with bigger artists so they would ask me for advice," he told Manchester Evening News.
