AEW: Jon Moxley ‘suffers concussion’ forcing change to match ending

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Jon Moxley is believed to have suffered a concussion during AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam which forced plans to change while the match was going on.

The former WWE star – who spent seven years in the company as Dean Ambrose after debuting with The Shield teammates Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in 2012 – was defending his International Championship against Rey Fenix on Wednesday night’s show.

However, fans noticed Moxley looking unsteady as the match was coming to an end, and at one moment he failed to kick out of a pinfall attempt.

Instead of counting to three with the champ’s shoulders pinned to the mat, the official appeared confused and stopped the three count, effectively letting the match continue.
