 Adam Thomas appears to have been injured ahead of taking to the dancefloor for the Strictly Come Dancing live shows. The latest season of the BBC dancing series kicked off last week, with the Waterloo Road star set to perform for the first time with professional partner Luba Mushtuk this weekend. However, in the month since being announced as one of the famous faces taking part, Adam, 34, has also been battling a chronic health illness, after previously revealing he'd been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. While Adam recently said he 'couldn't walk' while dealing with symptoms, he was 'on the road to recovery' and was looking forward to 'getting on the dance floor and start moving'. However, it now looks like he may have suffered an injury after being seen wearing a wrist support. This week Adam was photographed wincing and appeared to be in pain as he gripped his wrist while being photographed near a rehearsal dance studio in Manchester. He was seen attending rehearsals for the show with a wrist brace (Picture: Splash News) The actor recently told The Mirror that he was faced with such intense pain before his diagnosis that he 'couldn't even walk downstairs' and spent days in bed as the pain could be 'quite severe'. 'I could have good days and bad days, but on the bad days, it was really, really bad,' he shared. He went on to add: 'I am slowly getting my arthritis under control, and it's a chance for me to get out there again and to get fit and move again, and I'm just very thankful for it.
