Adam Collard admits he’s ‘learnt a lot about himself’ during Celebs Go Dating

Former Love Island star Adam Collard is one of several celebrities taking part in the new series of Celebs Go Dating, joining the likes of Vanessa Feltz, Lottie Moss and Chloe Burrows

Adam Collard is best known for his time on Love Island, first appearing in 2018 and returning as a bombshell in an explosive twist in 2022. And now Adam, 27, is turning his attention to Celebs Go Dating and is one of several single celebrities being put through their paces by the relationship experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson.

With filming still taking place, Adam has admitted that already he’s “learnt a lot about himself” through the process so far and despite being a reality TV pro, he still gets just as nervous. Speaking exclusively to Mirror, Adam, who recently added fuel to romance rumours with CGD co-star Lottie Moss, said of Celebs Go Dating: “It’s a lot of fun!” He added: “I think even if you don’t find someone or do all of that, you actually learn a lot about yourself and learn a lot about you with dating and how to date. I’m a little bit out of practice believe it or not!”

And despite having plenty of reality TV experience, Adam admitted that he still gets just as nervous. He said: “I feel like you’re more confident in front of cameras, obviously, when you’ve done stuff [Love Island] like that. I get nervous just as much as you [viewers] still.” Adam added: “No person is going into a first date 100% confident. I don’t care what you say, I don’t care who you are!”

With Adam joining an exciting celebrity line-up, the former Love Islander admitted he got starstruck by Made in Chelsea star Mark-Francis Vandelli. He said: “It was really funny, I wouldn’t say starstruck to the point of like the most I’ve ever been, obviously, I’ve met some really cool people. But Mark-Francis Vandelli, I actually went into the room and I don’t know whether it’s on camera or not but I was like: ‘You know I used to watch you when I was in sixth form!’ He’s like reality TV royalty! Everyone’s been really cool, really good fun, I think everyone’s gave the process a good go. We’ve had a right laugh!”
