Aaron Rodgers seen at MetLife Stadium in advance of New York Jets-Kansas City Chiefs matchup

The New York Jets quarterback suffered a season-ending injury after tearing his Achilles’ on the opening drive of the year with him expected to return to the sideline for the first time on “Sunday Night Football”

Aaron Rodgers is expected to be back on the New York Jets sideline for their primetime game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The veteran quarterback has been away from the team since tearing his Achilles’ on the opening drive of the year in his Jets’ debut at MetLife Stadium but was seen arriving via a cart to the stadium on Sunday evening. He was then spotted on the sideline during warmups using crutches and chatting with owner Woody Johnson.

Rodgers returned to his teammates on Saturday after undergoing surgery on his Achilles less than three weeks ago. NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that the quarterback was at the facility speaking to his teammates and attended meetings in advance of the “Sunday Night Football” matchup.

The 39-year-old gave a speech, with multiple reports suggesting that he told the team to stop pointing fingers at one another and be better teammates.
