Adams was sent to the Las Vegas Raiders for a first and second round draft pick, as the Raiders would give him a five-year contract extension along with a hefty salary - which Green Bay had not been willing to match. It's a gamble that has not paid off, with none of their receivers, including high-draft pick Christian Watson, have been able to step up in Adams' place. Rodgers has played at an elite level for the past two seasons, winning back-to-back MVP awards, with a dramatic fall from grace this season. But whilst he'll be disappointed with his play, the blame largely falls on the ability he has around him, rather than his own decline. Even still, with the season now looking like it's going nowhere, the Packers may be forced into a decision to finally hand over the reigns to 2020 first-round draft pick, Jordan Love. The former Utah State quarterback has started just once in his career, but ESPN reporter Brooke Pryor believes now is the time to make the move, before criticising Rodgers in the process.
