A Place in the Sun ‘extremely saddened’ by Jonnie Irwin diagnosis

On Monday morning, it was revealed that A Place in the Sun presenter Jonnie Irwin has just months to live after his lung cancer spread to his brain. The presenter was first diagnosed with lung cancer back in 2020 after his vision went blurry during filming for A Place in the Sun. After the news was exclusively revealed by Hello! magazine, Channel 4 spoke out about the sad news and expressed its love and concern for Jonnie.Freeform Productions and Channel 4 released a joint statement touching on his recent diagnosis.They told Express.co.uk: “We were and remain, extremely saddened by the news of Jonnie’s illness.
