Offences committed Alan and Alannah Morgan – the same person – heard at Dundee court
A person who hurled pizza and a skateboard during a series of public order offences has broken new legal ground by appearing in court as both a man and a woman on the same day.
The 50-year-old was put on a Restriction of Liberty Order for three months in Scotland as a result of offences committed as both Alan and as Alannah Morgan over the past 18 months.
The accused, who has a long list of previous convictions, was addressed as Alannah Morgan when appearing in the dock at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
However Morgan, Strathmore Lodge, Dundee, was sentenced in relation to four separate complaints – two of which were committed while she identified as Alan, and two while she identified as Alannah.
