Working from home has passed its peak, according to new research which shows that British companies are advertising for fewer remote roles as they bid to haul workers back into the office.
Remote job postings on LinkedIn, the jobs site, fell for the fifth month in a row in September in a sign that employers are turning up the pressure on staff to come back into the office.
Fewer than 12 per cent of job adverts in the UK were for fully remote roles – the lowest level since LinkedIn began collecting the data in September last year, shortly after the last of the UK’s pandemic restrictions ended.
