Democrats torn to shreds over Pelosi attack mid terms claim by GB News

An American journalist has blasted claims made by the Democrats that the attack on Paul Pelosi husband of House Speaker and veteran Democrat Nancy Pelosi would prove a poll boost for them. Speaking to GB News host Dan Wootton Megyn Kelly also rejected claims that the attacker David DePape was a Republican, claiming he supported the Black Lives Matter movement and LGBTQ rights.Mr Wootton started by asked the former Fox News Presenter if she believed the attack on Mr Pelosi would impact the mid term election.She said: “Absolutely not but the Democrats are trying to make this their October surprise.”There trying to turn this into ‘can you see how awful these Republicans are you can’t vote for them’. This is January 6 part 2.” Dan Wootton spoke to Megyn Kelly (Image: GB News ) Megyn Kelly said the Democrats would not get a poll boost after the attack on Mr Pelosi (Image: GB News )”Which is such a lie.”If you had waited one week this lunatic would have attacked someone else based on a different set of politics.”He was a BLM supporter, he had a LGBTQ flag in his window.”He was sleeping on a school bus three nights out of seven.”He was married or the longtime boyfriend of some woman who was convicted of molesting and harming a 14 year old boy.READ MORE: Arizona nominee criticised for mocking Paul Pelosi attack during rally Megyn Kelly said David DePape was a BLM supporter (Image: GB News ) Megyn Kelly said David DePape supported LGTBQ (Image: GB News )David DePape, 42 has been charged with assault and attempted kidnapping by the US Justice Department counts which carry up to 50 years in prison. DePape is accused of breaking into the Pelosi household in San Francisco on Friday and assaulting Mr Pelosi, 82. According to the federal affidavit filed on Monday DePape confronted Mr Pelosi as he slept in the bedroom. DePape demanded to speak to “Nancy” and said he would wait when Mr Pelosi explained that she wasn’t home.  Megyn Kelly said that David DePape slept on a school bus (Image: GB News )The court papers revealed that Mr DePape viewed Mrs Pelosi as the “leader of the pack” of the lies told by the Democratic Party. Mr DePape insisted that by breaking Mrs Pelosi’s kneecaps it would mean that she would have to be taken into Congress in a wheelchair something that would act as a warning for her colleagues.According to police they were called to the Pelosi residence for a “wellbeing check” early on Friday only to find Mr Pelosi and Mr DePape struggling with a hammer. Officers reported that Mr DePape pulled the hammer away from Mr Pelosi before using it to “violently assault” him before they intervened.According to Mrs Pelosi’s office following the attack Mr Pelosi underwent surgery for a skull fracture as well as injures to his right arm and hands. However doctors do expect him to make a full recovery. A number of items were recovered from Mr Pelosi’s bedroom including zip ties, white rope, a hammer, one pair of rubber and cloth gloves and a journal inside Mr DePape’s backpack according to the Justice Department. Mrs Pelosi was in Washington DC at the time having recently returned from a security summit in Europe.
