Martine McCutcheon’s difficulty to keep son Rafferty healthy

Martine McCutcheon, 46, said that she counts herself ‘lucky’ that her young son Rafferty Jack McManus enjoys fruits and vegetables as it can sometimes be ‘difficult’ to keep children healthy. In an exclusive chat with Express.co.uk, where Martine was speaking about the importance of understanding and testing cholesterol levels, the Love Actually star went on to say that she is also conscious about keeping on top of her son’s cholesterol.When asked how she makes sure Rafferty eats well and keeps active, Martine shared: ‘It is difficult. I think kids’ diets are tricky.’Depending on your child, children are all different. All of these things are good for generally lowering your cholesterol.’Martine’s support for general health and wellbeing comes shortly after she tragically lost her brother LJ after he suddenly died aged 31 without medical explanation.Although not connected to cholesterol levels in any way, Martine remained positive in promoting a mantra of looking after your body and taking the simple steps to reduce cholesterol levels.Martine McCutcheon is working with Flora ProActiv to educate people in the UK on the importance of understanding and testing cholesterol levels and the simple steps they can take to manage high cholesterol through diet and exercise this National Cholesterol Month.
