The 32-year-old singer recently released her 10th studio album, Midnights, with its soaring popularity making her the first artist in history to claim every spot in the top 10 of the US singles chart. Midnights also became Spotify's most streamed album in a single day. Announcing the tour news on Twitter, Taylor shared a tour poster with the caption: "I'm enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past & present!). "The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!" It's been a long time coming." Taylor will be joined by a number of popular artists, including Paramore, Haim, Phoebe Bridgers and Gracie Abrams. Also joining her will be beabadoobee, girl in red, Muna, Gayle and Owenn. The singer-songwriter will kick off the tour on March 18 in Glendale, Arizona at State Farm Stadium. Taylor's last stadium tour was back in 2018 to promote her album Reputation. She has since released new albums Lover, Folklore and Evermore, as well as re-recording her Red and Fearless albums. The Shake it Off hitmaker has described her new album as the story of "13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life" and "a journey through terrors and sweet dreams".
