Fans of the Snowman and Snowdog can now buy one of a range of collectible 50ps released by the Royal Mint to mark 10 years since the launch of a much-loved animated film
The Royal Mint has released a special 50p celebrating ten years since the release of The Snowman And The Snowdog film.
The film, released in 2012, is the sequel to the much-loved Raymond Briggs book and film The Snowman.
One side of the new 50p features the Snowman and the Snowdog, and the other side has a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
The coins start at £11, for a 50p made of cupronickel – the same metal alloy used for normal 50ps.
