KING Charles is advertising for a very important job that pays £40,000 per year – do you think you have what it takes?
The monarch – a known environmentalist – is looking for someone to tend to the lush gardens at Buckingham Palace.
The opulent gardens cover an estimated 40 acres, and include a helicopter pad, a lake, and a tennis court where Björn Borg, John McEnroe and Steffi Graf have all played.
The job description states that the successful applicant could earn up to £40k per year with 39 hours of work expected per week.
And Charles is looking for someone who is “passionate about plants” to take on the role.
