Kathy Burke has gone in on new Twitter boss Elon Musk after speculation around new fees for those with Blue Ticks emerged.
Musk’s £38billion takeover of Twitter is set to bring in some changes, with rumours the Blue Tick may become a paid feature with a £20 a month charge for users – such as celebrities, journalists and public figures – to retain their verified status.
He tweeted about the update on Sunday, telling users: ‘The whole verification process is being revamped right now.’
While the changes are yet to be confirmed, it appears comedian Burke isn’t really a fan of this potential new fee and called out the Tesla billionaire, insisting he should, in fact, be paying her for her stellar Twitter thoughts.
She didn’t mince her words as she addressed the billionaire businessman and tweeted: ‘Musk can f**k off with his idea of charging blue-tickers.
