Shoppers who aren't a member of the loyalty scheme will have to pay normal prices and won't get access to these exclusive discounts. The new member-only discounts will bring the scheme in-line with Tesco which offers its Clubcard members discounted prices. A Morrisons spokesperson said: "We've recently introduced exclusive deals for My Morrisons members and this week is running a My Morrisons Exclusive "two for £6" confectionery tub offer. "The type of offers available, and the categories that we run the offers on, will evolve as we continue to listen to customer feedback." My Morrisons was launched in 2016 under the Morrisons More brand. Shoppers used to get five points for every £1 spent in-store, and a £5 voucher to spend at Morrisons for every 5,000 points accumulated. But in July 2021, the supermarket gave the loyalty scheme a major revamp. Shoppers are no longer be able to collect points through the loyalty scheme since the supermarket scrapped points collecting. Instead of getting points, shoppers now receive digital coupons that can be used for instant savings in stores. So you won't be able to earn anything on your shopping, but you'll get "personalised offers" and coupons to get money off your groceries. And earlier this year the supermarket changed up its scheme by offering customers more of the things they want.
