Antonio Conte’s Tottenham head to France to take on Igor Tudor’s Marseille in a must-win game if they are to secure their place in the Champions League knockout stages
Tottenham take on Marseille in their final Champions League Group D fixture on Tuesday knowing that a win will secure their place in the last 16 of the competition.
Spurs currently lead the group on eight points after two wins and two draws from their first five games, including last week’s 1-1 stalemate with Sporting Lisbon, but two points between themselves and fourth-placed Marseille means anyone can still progress.
Marseille have put themselves in with a strong chance of making it out the group despite losing their first two fixtures. The Ligue 1 club secured back-to-back victories over Sporting Lisbon to get their tournament back on track, before losing to Eintracht Frankfurt last week.
Marseille vs Tottenham will kick-off at 8pm (GMT) on Tuesday, November 1 at the 67,394-capacity Stade Velodrome.
