The 25-year-old’s current deal expires next summer, but there is no imminent panic for the club as they can trigger a one-year extension to his contract.
The Daily Mail report that the Red Devils will either do that or get to work on a new contract entirely for the forward, keeping him at Old Trafford well beyond 2024.
Either way, Manchester United do not plan on getting to January with Rashford’s contract situation unchanged, as foreign clubs would then be able to speak to the striker over a summer move if nothing was amended.
