The author of Her Packing List says that she manages to take everything she needs with her in a 12-litre backpack, which is roughly the size of a laptop rucksack. Brooke first took her tiny luggage with her on a trip from Sydney to the US, where she spent three weeks travelling to Portland, Las Vegas, Chicago, San Francisco and on the Amtrak train. The blogger told CNN : 'My mom just sort of laughed when she saw my bag and realised it was all my luggage.' Brooke's preferred method is to use a packing cube filled with clothing that can be worn in multiple ways. These sit alongside foldable shoes, a mini-keyboard for her phone, and a bag of mini and essential toiletries.
