Last season, Marcus Rashford was a player down in the dumps. As Manchester United’s season lurched from one crisis to another, Ralf Rangnick found himself powerless to get the best from the 25-year-old. However, after the England international’s fine winner against West Ham on Sunday afternoon, it’s clear the academy graduate is now back to his best – and the rest of the Premier League have reason to be fearful.Manchester United’s narrow 1-0 win over West Ham wasn’t exactly a classic, with the Red Devils relying on their back five to help claim all three points at Old Trafford.But it was another good day at the office for Rashford, who popped up with the winner in the 38th minute to boost his side’s chances of finishing in the top four.The England international was the biggest threat on the pitch for United and his header was taken magnificently, with the player channelling his inner Cristiano Ronaldo to fire an effort into the net after a pinpoint cross from Christian Eriksen.It means Rashford now has seven goals for the season, more than double any other player at the club, and it’s clear with each passing game that he’s now back to his best after a troublesome campaign last time out.Last term, just about everybody in a red shirt struggled.
