Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine have been struck by a series of missile strikes this morning, with reports suggesting Moscow’s targets could include a power station in Kharkiv
Kyiv has been rocked by a series of explosions as Russia steps up its missile strikes.
Witnesses described hearing the blasts this morning in the Ukrainian capital while regional authorities in northern, eastern and central Ukraine also reported similar attacks.
Russia has increased strikes on Ukraine in recent weeks after blaming its former Soviet ally for the explosion which damaged the Crimea bridge.
Smoke could be seen rising above Kyiv after about 10 explosions, witnesses said.
