Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool have ‘serious problems’ following their embarrassing 2-1 defeat to Leeds United at Anfield on Saturday.
Rodrigo gave the away side an early lead as Mohamed Salah levelled things up in the first-half but Crysencio Summerville secured victory for Jesse Marsch’s team in the 89th minute to end Liverpool’s 29-game unbeaten home run in the top-flight.
The result means Liverpool, who won a domestic cup double last season and were two games away from an unprecedented quadruple, are down to ninth in the Premier League – winning just four of their opening 12 top-flight games this term.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have already lost twice as many Premier League games as in the whole of the last campaign while only 17th-placed Southampton have conceded the first goal in more top-flight games than Liverpool this season.
‘It’s a huge result for Leeds but Liverpool have got massive problems, Carragher told Sky Sports.
