Arsenal and England dealt huge injury blow as Saka limps off injured

Bukayo Saka: The 21-year-old limped off with an injury (Image: Twitter)Arsenal have been handed a major injury scare after Bukayo Saka limped off during their Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest on Sunday. The 21-year-old sparked concerns over his fitness after suffering a knock and was replaced by Mikel Arteta after 27 minutes when it became apparent the youngster could not continue, raising fears about his chances of making England’s squad for the World Cup.The winger, who had assisted Gabriel Martinelli for the opening goal after just five minutes to put Mikel Arteta’s side 1-0 up, appeared to take a knock when challenged by Forest full-back Renan Lodi.Saka got back to his feet shorlty after the challenge and looked to be able to continue as he ran around freely. However, he was in constant communication with Arteta on the touchline and he seemed to agree with the Arsenal boss that he should be taken off, as he signalled to the bench that he wanted to be substituted.Reiss Nelson was brought on from the bench to replace his fellow Hale End academy graduate, leaving Arteta to fret over the seriousness of his injury.
